About Gene Ritchhart
My name is Gene Ritchhart. I was born and raised in San Diego, Ca. My father was a career Navy man, thus my early years growing up were spent primarily in San Diego. After I graduated from El Cajon High School I joined the Army. While in the army I was the driver of an M113a1 Armored Personnel Carrier. While stationed in Mainz, Germany I found that I could make a little money selling my art work. After the army I used the GI Bill to go to college and attained an A.A.degree in Art. I currently live in the state of Washington where I am continuously inspired by this states beauty. Thanks for viewing my work.

Later I'll post couple more of Mr. Cupcake. Today we had a wedding for him and Piece, the neighbors cat.

Gene, This is an adorable cat and I like the way you have photographed him on the zebra print. Great idea. I love cats. We had a dog and a cat and both of them "passed away", the dog in January and the cat back af few years ago. It is like losing a family member. I read what you wrote on Heather King's site about losing a pet,so I know you understand how I am still grieving over the loss of our 13 yr. old "Happy", my constant companion and Buddy for all those years. She was part Springer Spaniel. F/V
